Our Work
Here is a log of all of the workshops held at the elementary school, where we made origami which was delivered to a local senior center.
01
Halloween Ghosts
In celebration of Halloween, we visted the student council of Vanderbilt Elementary School, where we taught kids how to make origami ghosts! The students also made short messages to go along with their ghosts, which we delivered to seniors at Sunrise Senior Living of Dix Hills.
02
Festive Snowmen
As the holiday season arrives, we visited the student council at Vanderbilt Elementary School again to make origami snowmen! Along with their snowmen, children also made cards to be given to seniors at the Sunrise Senior Living of Dix Hills. The kids also decorated both their snowmen and cards to give the seniors a more personal message.
03
Valentine's Envelopes
The kids absolutely loved making origami envelopes with little hearts inside them. The seniors absolutely loved the origami and notes.
04
St. Patrick's Day Shamrocks
In spirit of Saint Patrick’s Day, the students at Vanderbilt Elementary School made shamrock origami along with personalized cards to send to the seniors at Sunrise.
05
Spring Fish
During our last session for this school year we made fishies! The kids absolutely loved this one.
